Rebecca Crutteden is an eight-time Ironman finisher. Six years ago, while preparing for one of the epic fitness marathons, she created a protein-packed cookie.

Now, that little cookie is helping children find their forever homes. As mother of three children, all of whom are adopted, Rebecca knew the importance of finding permanent families and turned her Ironman snack into a cookie with a purpose. She dubbed them Clara Cookies after a little girl from Bulgaria who found her forever home with a friend in Wisconsin. (Full disclosure: the Clara in question knows the Q1067 social media editor as “Unky.”).

The infamous Clara behind Clara Cookies and her favorite Unky.

Since rolling out Clara Cookies, Rebecca and her team of volunteers have raised over a $250,000 for Team Orphans, an organization she founded to help bring kids home to their forever families.
