LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Woof Boom Radio Lafayette/Q106-7 today announced that Lafayette native and veteran broadcaster Gina Quattrocchi will join the radio station as afternoon host.

“It’s wonderful to welcome Gina Quattrocchi to the Q106-7 family,” said Jim Stone, managing partner for Q106-7. “Q106-7 is wholly-local radio station focused on using our voice to build our community. With her deep roots and obvious love for Greater Lafayette, there’s no one better than Gina to help us advance our mission.”

A graduate of McCutcheon High School, Gina earned her degree from Purdue University in 1998 and started with WLFI Channel 18 in Lafayette that same year. She signed off in May after 20 years as a reporter and anchor at the station.

“I’m beyond thrilled to start this new chapter of my career at Q106-7,” said Quattrocchi. “Lafayette and Tippecanoe County have always been my home. To have this new opportunity to use my voice to build up my hometown and make it even better is exciting.”

Gina’s first day on the air will be October 1.
